Women of the Storm Visit Dubuque

On September 7, 2007, the Women of the Storm, the America’s WETLAND Foundation and the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority partnered with the City of Dubuque and the National Mississippi River Museum to bring a message to Iowans of how Louisiana’s coastal land loss affects states whose security and economy are tied to the Mississippi River.   During a press conference  and later at a Congressional Briefing and luncheon the Women of the Storm issued invitations to members of the Iowa Congressional delegation to visit New Orleans.
