Blue Tarp Fashion Show
As the nation and world watched Louisiana celebrate its most famous
party in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, local artists and designers
staged a satirical Blue Tarp Fashion Show in New Orleans French Quarter
to express the dismay that many feel about so much of New Orleans still
being covered in blue tarps.
The Women of the Storm, America’s WETLAND and Louisiana Cultural
Economy Foundation joined forces to host the Fashion Show held at
